A Little About Jeff

With over 20 years of experience, I spend most of my energy on landscape and outdoor photography with a concentration on sunrises and sunsets.  As a Minnesota native, most of my work is from my home state, specifically two areas;  The Upper Mississippi River/Lake Pepin area and the Lake Superior North Shore. Both areas seem to have an irresistable desire to be photographed and I'm happy to oblige.

Photography has both a mechanical and an artistic side. It's this combination that drew my interest and continues to hold it to this day. My concentration on lanscape photography is driven by its inherit unpredictability. Every shoot is different as you never know exactly what to expect. Creating a composition and then waiting for the weather, the colors, and the mood to be just right is an exciting challenge. Anticipating the possibilities makes the challenge irresistable.
